In this series we’ll explore mindfulness methods, meditations, and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help you let go of anxiety, become fearless in the face of adversity and deal with your negative emotions more confidently and effectively.

Each class will consists of guided meditations, teachings, and time for questions.

Oct 9 – Mindfulness when things are crazy!
Oct 16 – Meditation and our life: Believing is seeing
Oct 23 – No Class due to the Retreat in the Grand Canyon

We all want to make changes in our life. We want to be less insecure, less fearful, less angry, less depressed, etc. And we want to be more confident, courageous, happy, creative and so forth. But we find it difficult to make these changes and to bring about these new versions of ourself that we long for.

The practice of meditation, combined with Buddha’s insights on the psychology of transformation, will enable us to release our self-limiting views and give us the confidence and skill to make these life-enhancing changes.

Each class will consists of guided meditations, teachings, and time for questions.

Dec 4-18 Letting Go of the Past

We all have within us the potential for everything we need to truly flourish in, and fully enjoy our relationships and life. The qualities that make our relationships and life rich and meaningful such as inner peace, love, compassion and patience, are more natural to our mind than we may think.

We will learn how to practically connect to, cultivate and strengthen these inner qualities through meditation and improving our mindfulness. Through this, we will learn how to develop and maintain a naturally peaceful, positive mind, no matter what is happening in our relationships and life. In this way, we will discover how to work through the inevitable challenges we meet in our relationships and life, and come to fully enjoy both, from the inside-out.

Dec 4 – Inner peace, inner potential and the key to enjoying relationships
Dec 11 – Letting go of the biggest obstacle to good relationships
Dec 18 – The art of forgiveness
Dec 25 – No Class due to Christmas
