Emptiness for Beginners: An Urban Retreat on Fearless Wisdom
During this weekend urban retreat at Amitabha Centre, we will explore and enjoy the liberating meditation on emptiness. Emptiness is the word used by Buddha to describe the ultimate nature of reality, how things actually exist. Meditating on emptiness gives us an experience of freedom from limitations that allows us to let go of our painful ways of relating to ourselves and the world. It is the key to solving all our problems and experiencing genuine and lasting peace.
Kadam Kelly will guide us into a practical experience of the meditation on emptiness, showing us how to integrate this joyful meditation into our own daily practice.
