Apr 5-26 Letting Go of Anxiety

SUNDAYS 11am-12:15pm with Kadam Kelly Loeffelmann

About This Online Series

Some people just seem to roll with the punches, while others are tormented by crippling anxiety at the merest glimpse of potential trouble. What is the secret of keeping it together in the face of adversity? How do we rid ourselves of anxiety and connect with a more peaceful, balanced part of ourself?

Meditation helps us become familiar with naturally happy and strong states of mind. Furthermore, Buddhist wisdom can teach us to exchange our own burden of problems and worry for compassion and a sense of connection to others. By practising these techniques we don’t just learn to cope, but we continue to thrive and grow, no matter what life hurls our way.

May 3-31 Overcoming Loneliness

SUNDAYS 11am-12:15pm with Kadam Kelly Loeffelmann

About This Online Series

Loneliness is becoming rampant in our society, heightened by our current pandemic siutation. Join us for this series to learn the method we can employ to eradicate loneliness once and for all.

Loneliness does not depend on having people around you. Something else is going on. And we can do something about it. Looking at our loneliness in the stillness of meditation allows us to see clearly a major error we are all making in how we relate to ourself and to others. According to Buddha, at a deep level we misperceive ourselves as completely separate from others. It is this crucial misperception that creates ongoing feelings of disconnection and isolation.

The truth is we are not disconnected but interconnected. And we can discover this truth directly for ourselves in meditation. This profound insight will change how we relate to ourself. It will open us to authentic heart-warming relationships with others, to deep friendships and intimacy. And it will also open us up to a whole new relationship with ourselves. Real love. Real connection.
