Mala Making Course

In Sherwood Park | Saturday Oct 5 | 10am-2pm

About the course

Mantra means “mind protection”. For centuries, mantra recitation has been used to attain a peaceful and happy mind by pacifying the negative thoughts that give rise to our suffering. It is the supreme method to enhance the qualities of our body and mind.

Many people find it helpful to have a mala, or set of prayer beads, to use when reciting mantras.

This will be a practical course explaining the purpose of malas and how to make your own mala. All materials are provided and you can choose your own design from a beautiful selection of beads. At the end of the course you will take home your own personal mala, or you might like to give it as a gift.

This is a beginner-friendly course and everyone is welcome.
